"We are sorry to have to inform you that the Geri Halliwell Fan Club is no longer taking membership and as with many other fan clubs will be shortly closing down."

"As Geri is such a high profile artist most, if not all, of the information and privileges the Fan Club can offer you is already available first from magazines, newspapers and now of course the internet. This was not an easy decision to make but Geri felt strongly that if her most valued fans were not able to recieve something special and exclusive from the Fan Club on a regular basis then it is not serving its purpose. Geri's first solo fan club was first introduced in the spring of 2000. Similar to the Spice Girls' club it included exclusive photos and posters, a really cool membership card, fan club competitions, fan club discounts, fan club privileges and exclusive REAL news. It consisted of four magazines published quarterly.
